The weekend of sailing
This was quite a busy weekend for Seascape sailors. With three big events in Germany and one big win in Croatia, we cannot be more pleased.
Our second edition of the signature event on Bodensee proved the concept once again as one of the nicest long-distance events you can find in South Germany. The local hospitality and Seascape community made sure that spirits were high even when the lack of wind was causing some headaches. Check out all the great photos and blog posts on the new Signature events page.
Helga cup in Hamburg is arguably largest all-female regatta held on Seascape24s and J70s. Almost 80 teams signed in and 62 ended up sailing it. With more than 70 starts in three days, we must commend the organisers for pulling such a feat. In the finals, DSV2 Team with German Olympic sailors onboard took the win amongst in a seriously impressive finish! Big congratulations.
You can read more about it in a yacht.de article (if you understand German that is).
Also this weekend the Seascape Chiemsee Cup was organised by the Greman Class Association as a part of the Central European Cup. 13 Seascape18 and 2 Seascape24 enjoyed the great atmosphere but only wished for a bit more wind.
