Editorial – Getting ready for the sailing season

After a great start of the year with Dusseldorf boat show, we are ready to step towards new adventures, with numerous sailing events to choose from all around the world.
On our website you can find the full event calendar.

For now, just a few words on the events that are ahead of us, as well as some important information. Registrations are open for most of the events listed below, however, pay attention to Silverrudder, for their quota is almost full, and La Duecento due to some updates regarding safety regulations.

The second edition of the Seascape Challenge calls out to all sailors who would like to expand their comfort zone while sailing doublehanded in one of the most beautiful archipelagos in this part of Europe. Find out all about the event and register on seascapechallenge.com

Seascapes are this year again joining one of the most popular Italian races, La Duecento. 200 miles race spreads through Italian and Croatian waters.
Pay attention to safety regulations:
– obligatory life raft
– in case you are sailing doublehanded, at least one crew member must have ISAF offshore personal survival course certificate (section 6,World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations 2016-17).
– courses are available in Croatia, Adriatic Ocean and Austria/Germany, Segelwelt

For the first time Seascape signature events are traveling to France, to join world known sailing festival, Grand Prix Ecole Navale, the event organized by the French Naval academy. French Seascape18 open national championship is a part of GPEN, so all of you are invited to join our French owners on this amazing event.

Danish blockbuster Silverrudder after just 3 years became the biggest singlehanded race in the world. Just 10 days after the registrations opened, more than 300 boats applied, which leaves only 50 available slots.
Seascapes have been joining the race since it’s second edition. Following that tradition, some of our owners already registered for the race. If you would like to experience this ultimate challenge, hurry up and register!
